Founded in 2023 by Jonas Louis-Sidney and Julien Boucheix, cabinetmakers trained at La Bonne Graine, Sennedra is a contemporary atelier featuring a design office and workshop under one roof. The studio crafts bespoke furniture for architects and interior designers in France and internationally, combining fine timber with rare materials like shagreen and parchment, and pairing traditional cabinetmaking with precision CNC machining.
Wood forms the foundation of Sennedra’s work, with solid timbers and fine veneers carefully selected for grain structure, stability, and character. The studio integrates rare materials such as shagreen, parchment, straw, mica, and gypsum to introduce distinctive textures and finishes. Mastering these delicate surfaces requires rigorous technical skill; every element is hand-crafted in the studio’s workshop.
Most of our work is custom-made in direct collaboration with architects, interior designers, and decorators. From one-off commissions and limited production runs to bespoke doors and architectural wall panelling, we oversee every project from initial sketch to final delivery. Alongside custom commissions, we also develop in-house furniture designs presented in the Oxyde Collection.
